Today, 21 August 2012, partner companies KIA Motors Bulgaria, Subaru Motors, B.L.Leasing and Europcar Bulgaria held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction for its completely new sales and service center, in line with the latest standards in the automotive industry and corporate identity requirements. By tradition and success of the new building a bottle of champagne was ceremonially broken on the building company Argogroup excavator. Father Nicanor of Giginski monastery "St. Bezsrebarnitsi i chudotvortsi Cozma i Damian" held a dedication ceremony. The modern auto center will be located on ‘Tsarigradsko shose’ towards the exit of Sofia, between Dimitar Peshev Street and the bridge over the river Iskar (against Gorubliansko Hanche).

The new sale and service centre will be situated on a total area of 9,300 m2 - Kia Motors Bulgaria (879 m2), Subaru Motors (645 m2), Europcar Bulgaria (523 m2) and B.L.Leasing (201 m2). Considerable space of 6,650 m2 in the new business center is intended for servicing both automotive brands. The investment includes the construction of local roadway providing access to the corporate facility.

The state-of-the-art complex consists of 4 levels - basement and three floors. The project provided 120 parking spaces, 49 of them are located in the roof area. Basement area is designated for service activities including tinsmith and painting shop, customers waiting zone, stock of spare parts and tires. On the first floor there is a service area with reception room, cars waiting zone, car wash area with reception and communication department, as well as Annual Technical Inspection area. KIA and Subaru showrooms together with sales offices are located at the same level. On the second and third floor are situated the companies’ administrative offices, restaurant and coffee shop.The new complex will provide 125 full-time employees, with plans of appointing new staff.

Kia Motors posts global sales of 214,219 vehicles in February

Kia Motors Corporation announced today its February 2016 global sales figures (export sales, domestic sales and sales from overseas plants) for passenger cars, recreational vehicles (RVs) and commercial vehicles, recording a total of 214,219 units sold. This figure represents 2.6% year-on-year growth compared to the same month of 2015.

Kia K900 (Quoris) sets record-high score in AutoPacific Vehicle...

Four models from Kia Motors America (KMA) were recognized as segment winners of the 2015 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA), including the K900 (known as ‘Quoris’ in some markets) luxury sedan, which ranked at the top of the Luxury Car category and won AutoPacific’s coveted President’s Award, given to the vehicle that achieves the highest-ever overall VSA score. This is only the third time this award has been given in the 19-year history of the VSAs. The other three Kia winners included the 2015 Cadenza, 2015 Soul (tie) and 2015 Sportage in the Large Car, Compact Car and Compact Crossover SUV categories, respectively, with the Soul scoring its second consecutive win. Kia had more category winners than any other brand and ranked third (tie) among all Popular non-premium automakers for overall brand score.

On 21st of May in Sofia Event Center, KIA Motors Bulgaria corporate site ( won first place of the Forbes E-volution Awards in category – ‘Usability’ (Sites with excellent, ergonomic and user friendly navigation). Forbes gathered 162 applications in the first edition of the contest which aim was to reward the most innovative and contemporary practices in the e-business, as well as to encourage further development of the sector and to support the best practices which will serve as a guide for other businesses.
